Is MediRemind Australian owned?
Yes. MediRemind is owned and operated by Ovara Tech, an Australian company based in Perth, Western Australia. It was built specifically for Australian patients, families and carers.
Does my medication data stay in Australia?
MediRemind stores medication records, eScript information, repeat counts and reminder schedules locally on your device. For an Australian user keeping their phone in Australia, that medication information remains with them rather than being uploaded to MediRemind or overseas health-data servers. Limited account, subscription, diagnostic and optional pharmacy-service information may be processed to operate the app. The Privacy Policy explains this in full.
Why pay for MediRemind when some pharmacy apps are no-cost?
Some pharmacy-linked apps are funded by a pharmacy, chain or service provider and may be designed around that pharmacy relationship. MediRemind is supported by patient subscriptions. It works independently of any pharmacy chain, stores medication and eScript information on your device, and does not sell medication data or use it for advertising.

Does it work on Android as well as iPhone?
Yes. MediRemind Scripts is available on both the App Store (iPhone and iPad) and Google Play (Android). The same features are available on both platforms.
Is my health data private?
Yes. MediRemind Scripts does not sell your medication data, does not use it for advertising, and does not share medication records with third parties. Medication and eScript data is stored on your device.
